Rink at the Brink, an iconic Canadian Wintertime Attraction, Offers Outdoor Ice Skating a Stone’s Throw from Popular Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights
(PRWEB) November 20, 2009 — The Winter Festival of Lights is proud to announce the Rink at the Brink, Niagara’s newest wintertime attraction, is scheduled to open Monday, November 23rd. The 60’ W x 120’ L refrigerated, outdoor ice rink, located across from Table Rock Centre within The Niagara Parks Commission, will be open daily (10:00 am – 10:00 pm) until February 28, 2010. It will provide recreational ice skating, skate, helmet and locker rentals, as well as skating lessons for groups and individuals. It can also host special functions such as corporate holiday parties and birthdays.
Part of the Winter Festival of Lights, the Rink at the Brink offers a wonderful way to begin or end a visit to this popular winter Niagara Falls event. And whether a family is looking for a weekend of fun or a couple is looking for a romantic excursion, they can now enjoy a magical outdoor Niagara Falls ice skating experience just a stone’s throw away from one of the most-famous natural attractions in the world.
Adult admission with skate rental is $9.99 and $8.00 without skate rental while admission for children (12 & under) is $7.99 and $5.75, respectively with helmet rental included in the package price for children under the age of seven.
With the unique weather conditions experienced near the brink of the Falls, the Rink at the Brink will be covered by a steel and canvass roof and wall structure (80’ W x 140’ L x 36’ H) with 20’ wide, clear-span wall panels along its eastern side (facing the Falls) that provide excellent views of the Falls in all weather conditions.
