Fireworks in Queen Victoria Park

It ain’t over ’till it’s over! The free Niagara Falls fireworks shows continue into early September at 10:00 pm. Friday, September 1st, Sunday, September 3rd, and the final showing of the Summer season in on Labour Day Monday, September 4th, 2017.

Niagara Wine Festival at Montebello Park

When: Friday, September 15th – Sunday, September 17th & Friday, September 22nd – Sunday, September 24th, 2017
Montebello Park (64 Ontario St.) in Downtown St.Catharines is home to the Niagara Wine Festival.
Wristbands will be in effect for those wishing to drink (wine, food, and vendor fees apply), however families are welcome as there will be a stroller and wagon entrance through the Lake St. entrance. Apart from the obvious celebration of Niagara’s finest wines, there will be plenty of free live entertainment with a list of concerts.
Also, on Saturday, September 23rd, enjoy the colours and the pageantry of one of North America’s foremost street parades! Featuring an outstanding procession of marching bands, drum corps, community groups, majorettes, floats and amazing performances.

“Niagara Night of Art”

When: Thursday, September 21st, 2017 from 6-10 pm
The Niagara Falls History Museum is celebrating local musicians and artists with this free, family-friendly event that will include art installations, art exhibitions, live music, and hands-on interactive crafts and activities for all ages. Food from onsite vendors will be available for purchase so be sure to come hungry.

Niagara Falls International Food Festival and Night Market

When: September 2nd (2:00 pm – Midnight) & 3rd (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) at the L8 Niagara Fairgrounds (13030 Lundy’s Lane)
The 1st Annual Niagara Falls Night Market and International Food Festival will feature a huge selection of food and art vendors, fashion shows, live music, buskers, a kidz zone and so much more!
There will be free shuttles throughout the day at various locations in Niagara Falls (every 20 minutes), including from Clifton Hill and the Canada One Factory Outlet.

Carmel Fine Art & Music Festival

When:  Saturday, September 16th, 2017 (9am to 6pm) and Sunday, September 17th,  2017 (9am to 4pm)
The 5th Annual Carmel Fine Art & Music Festival is held at Firemen’s Park, 2275 Dorchester Road in Niagara Falls. While it is not free for adults ($5), it is free for children under 12 years old. This is an indoor and outdoor exhibition that features various local artists and musicians. They will be performing, as well as selling their art pieces throughout the weekend.

Gus Macker Tournament Niagara Falls

When: September 23rd & September 24th, 2017 on Queen Street, Downtown Niagara Falls
The Gus Macker Tournament is the world’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be making its first ever trip to Niagara Falls. The tournament is expected to host over 200 teams with more than 5,000 spectators in attendance over the course of the three days. The tournament will begin on Friday, September 22nd with early bird registration, and officially tip off the following day, Saturday, September 23rd with Opening Ceremonies at 8:00 a.m.; first round following immediately after. This is free for spectators to come and support and watch the players. There will be plenty of vendors on hand selling products for purchase.
All proceeds for this event will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto & Queen Street Niagara Falls very own Heart Niagara.

KELSEYS Clifton Hill Daily Free Live Entertainment

When: Daily from 12pm – 4:30pm & 8pm – 12:30 am 
KELSEYS Original Roadhouse (located at the top of Clifton Hill), has live entertainment daily as you dine, free of charge to enjoy. There is never an entrance fee. Performers happen out on one of Niagara’s most popular patios!

Canadian Forces Snowbirds in Niagara on the Lake

When: Wednesday, September 20th taking off from the Niagara District Airport, 468 Niagara Stone Road at approximately 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the Snowbirds perform amazing aerobatics in the sky as part of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.
**For $5/person, you may get a prime viewing experience by heading to the Niagara District Airport. First come/first served basis, free parking at airport, weather permitting.
